Windows 98 for Simple Computers Second Edition

This is a reworked version of the previous one. It has many new features such as: A new Start menu, More options, and New Color Schemes which Can be Found In Start>Settings> Change Color Scheme. The steps below gives help on any functions in the program.

When the program has downloaded, double click it to run it. When it runs you should see "Starting Windows 98". If it is displayed, it is working properly.

After the boot splash disappears , there will be a"'please wait" message. After the message, you will arrive at the Desktop. The Desktop is the main place to start using this program. The Desktop also has the taskbar so it is possible to navigate. Although it does not have any working icons, it is still an interesting concept.

Like real Windows user interfaces, this one also has a start menu. It can be accessed by typing 'start' into the input box. When opened, it will give many options like viewing programs or going to the settings page.

It is possible to edit this file and its contents. However, do not claim this or re-post this file. If you do so, make sure it is vaguely similar to the original or it would be like calling it your own. The file itself is not that big, so it wont take long to download (around a few kb at maximum).
