On this occasion I wanted to make a tabletop fireplace with ethanol (bioethanol) since they are very practical, do not require ventilation or ducts, do not produce smoke or odor and can be installed anywhere, both on an outdoor patio and in the living room. This is an option for those plans where we want a little warmth, ideal for those plans with friends

It is always recommended to measure the materials with the same container, in order to always maintain exact quantities.

In a container, add one part of cement and two parts of sand, mix very well, then add water little by little and continue mixing constantly until you obtain a manageable paste, it should neither be too dry nor too wet.

Grease the containers, you can use oil or Vaseline as in this case, this will make it easier when removing the mold.

add the cement mixture to the container we chose, in this case I chose two plastic containers which I liked because of their shape, since they were round, but we can choose any other type of container, whether plastic, aluminum or we can even make it out of cardboard making the shape you like.

2. Give a few small taps on the floor at the base of the container, just like it is in the gif, this is done to eliminate any bubbles that remain

3. After this, place the second container on top well centered and immerse it in the cement, to create the desired depth, avoid submerging it too much so as not to leave the base too thin and break it.

4.place some stones or something with weight, as seen in the 7th image.

5. Let it dry in a place where it is not exposed to rain or impurities, and avoid moving it, for at least 24 hours.

I made two, one base with a thin edge and another with a thicker edge.

1. After letting it dry for at least 24 hours, we check that the cement has already hardened.

2. Unmold very carefully and let dry for another 24 hours

3. Spray water frequently every 3 hours to cure the cement well so that it does not break and has greater durability.

Ligate the imperfect edges, but this is optional since you can leave it with a rustic finish if you want.

It's time to decorate the table fireplace

I filled it with river sand

I used an empty tuna can, since I had it on hand at home, but you can also use a solid fire can or you can buy a burner in stores where they sell everything for ethanol fireplaces.

Decorate with some stones, I chose white stone since I wanted an elegant touch

Pour the ethanol into the tuna can and light it with a lighter, this way you will have a homemade ethanol fireplace that is very easy to make.
