Stool

I made a stool out of old wood. This way, I created a beautiful and functional piece of furniture while doing something good for the environment. And as you can see, even my cat loves it! With my DIY instructions, you can easily recreate this project. I tested it, and it even holds my weight – very sturdy
Supplies

For this project, you will need:
8 wooden boards, approximately 5 cm wide and 25 cm long
2 boards, 15 cm wide and 40 cm long
8 screws of suitable length
A cordless screwdriver with matching bits and a drill bit with the same diameter as the screws
Drill the Holes

Drill a suitable hole in all four corners of the board. The hole should match the legs of the stool. To do this, place one of the legs in a corner and trace the edges of the leg. Then, as shown in the photo, connect these corners with a line—you should now see a cross. Where the lines intersect, drill the hole. Repeat this process for all four corners and also for the legs themselves. There, measure the center again and drill the hole for the screws. This is important because without these holes, the wood could split when the screws are inserted
Connecting the Boards

In this step, we connect the two boards. This time, the exact placement of the holes is not as critical; it just needs to look like the photo. However, make sure that the boards do not end up protruding into the legs of the stool. Therefore, position them more toward the center
Stabilize the Structure

To stabilize the whole structure, we screw two additional boards onto the two already in place. These should be positioned as shown in the photo. To make the whole thing look nicer, the boards can be cut to size. This way, the overall appearance is more polished.

In the end, it should look like the photo!
The End of the Projekt

I hope you enjoy this piece of furniture. Even if you don’t build the stool, I hope this guide serves as inspiration for future projects
