Makeshift Electric Blender

Hello everyone, This is BlenderPlus, a DIY Motorised vegetable chopper made by modifing an existing manual vegetable chopper.

Our objective was to automate an existing hand-operated hopper. To summarize the process, we wanted to automate the entire process so that, instead of using a hand-operated chopper, we only need to press a button to chop all the vegetables.

This was accomplished by removing the hand-operated chopper part entirely and installing a gear DC motor coupled with a housing and a 3D-printed bush.

We are using a 12V power adaptor as a four-power source, which is connected to a Rocker switch to control the motor's rotation.

Let us start with our build since the entire article is about the project's build process.

Solder the components using this circuit diagram, then assemble them in the lid section, optionally hotgluing them in place.

We had to model a shaft-like component that would be fastened to the motor's rotating shaft and enable us to connect the blade part to our DC motor in order to replace the handcrank part.

The holding jar is then covered with the motor.

Once the assembly is complete, the motor will be firmly screwed onto the lid of the chopper. This ensures the setup remains stable during operation, minimizing any risks of loose components or potential harm.

After assembly, we have our homemade blender, which is as affordable and practical as a blender.

There, we have a homemade, highly effective, and reasonably priced electric blender.

Thanks for reaching this far, and I will be back with a new project soon.
