Giant Movie Ticket Sign

In this Instructable, I will try and show you how I made a Giant Movie Ticket sign, for a Home Theatre room.
You will need the following:
Cad/Cam Program like Vectric Aspire
CNC Router
CNC 90* V-Bit
CNC 1/8" Endmill Bit
CNC 1/16" Endmill Bit
CNC 1/4" Endmill Bit
White Pine wood Rough dimensions 28" x 8 1/2" x 3/4"
Matte Clear Spary
Blue Spray Paint
Orbital Sander with 220 grit sandpaper
Design

I first designed the project in Vectric Aspire, made some outer lines, then made some inner lines. Added the words, Theatre and Admit one. Then I needed some art work, added a wavy film strip and some stars.
Toolpaths

I then switched over to the Toolpath side, added a V-Carve toolpath, using a 90* V-Bit and 1/8" Endmill for the flat areas. Use a Pocket toolpath for small areas of the filmstrip, using a 1/16" Endmill Bit. And for the last Toolpath, I used the Profile toolpath with a 1/4" Endmill Bit.
After adding all the Toolpaths, I preview it, to see what it was going to come out like.
Carve

Now install the stock into the CNC Router, I am using the X-Carve CNC. Started carving with the 90* V-Bit first, then the 1/8" Endmill, followed by the 1/16" Endmill, and finally use the 1/4" Endmill to cut the piece out.
Seal and Paint

Next we need to seal the wood, so it can take the paint, I used Rust-oluem Matte Clear. Let it dry overnight, then spray a couple coats of Rust-oluem Blue Paint.
Note let the Paint dry a couple of days before you go to the next step.
Sand

Now that the paint has dried for a couple of days, sand the top with a Orbital Sander with 220 grit sandpaper. Then blow off and wipe down real good, before going to the next step.
Seal

Now spray a couple coats of the Rust-oluem Matte Clear.
Finish

Now is the time to enjoy your sign, I attached some hardware on the back of the sign for hanging.
Hang it up in a Theatre room, Man Cave or any where you like, I think the sign came out great. This was my take for a Ticket sign, but they are many different designs for a sign like this.
Thanks for checking out my Instructable.
