I made this two months ago. I used a plastic seashell and spray painted it using krylon paint for plastic, the hammered bronze color. I then soldered two wires and a pushbutton switch to the trigger of a LED flasher chip I scavenged from a fifty-cent-machine toy. What I did next was hot-glue the two tiny LEDs to the bottom of a clear glass marble, then I used hot glue to mount it inside the painted shell. Finally I used a piece of red foam sheet to line the inside of the shell, making the marble look like a pearl in an oyster. When the button is pushed, the marble rapidly flashes very bright flashes of red and green light.
