HOLY ENORMOUS HEAD BATMAN !!! This was a labour of could I or Could I not make this out of a A3 light box, cardboard packing which I not want to waste ...but I eventually did make a Batman head like Mask, looks good enough to be a Mascot or just a play head type thing.

Supplies

CARDBOARD

2x A3 SHEET OF BLACK FOAM

1x A4 SHEET OF PEACH FOAM

white mesh fabric (for the eye part)

hot glue gun

scissors

sharpie markers

Masking tape

Making the Head

This is just basically, taking the cardboard package apart, then tape the cardboard frame around your head with Masking tape, curving another cardboard piece for the forehead part of the head, cover it more with more masking tape and make a nose piece out of a thinner cardboard piece as shown on the picture and for the ears too attached them on your mask by gluing them with A HOT glue gun plus add another dimple cardboard shape on the chin part of the mask, cover it with tape .

Using masking tape or gaffer tape to keep a strong bound to the mask, all over and make sure to cut out the eye hole and mark them where you can see through the mask, when putting on the head piece contraption, hopefully it will be stable onced worn on.

Fully Colour the Bat Head

For finishing the Batman mask, I'd use two A3 black funky craft foam sheet and cut them to size, like a jigsaw puzzle over the parts that are black on the the characters face and added one Peach or skin tone type colour A4 craft foam sheet for the mouth part which I applied first with a hot glue gun and drew the mouth with a posca or sharpie marker, then glued the white mesh fabric, within where the eye holes are inside the mask and hello the Dark Knight is finished.

This was just out of stroke of luck and having fun, but I did not want to waste a package of a lightbox I purchased from an art store and I wanted to see if I could accomplish it without any strategy and now you can see I've combined this headpiece with my Green Ranger Shield I've made on my instructable account with my Green Ranger Dagger (not yet featured in my account) and a cheap power morpher belt with different costume parts ... and if your very creative you could even make a funny trailer or short film out of it !!!!

ENJOY .
