Arduino CNC Shield V3 - Enhanced Capabilities and Features

These two modifications allow you to individually enable each axis on your Arduino CNC Shield. Previously, all the enables were controlled by pin 8, but now you can turn on each motor independently. This helps save energy by disabling motors that are not in use. The second modification powers both the Arduino UNO and the shield using the VIN pin, requiring only one power supply.
MOD the Vin Power Pin

Solder a jumper wire from the 6th pin from the left ie. the Vin pin to the input of the fuse on the CNC shield this will enable the Arduino UNO board to also power the CNC shield by using the power jack that is connected to the Arduino UNO.
MOD the Enable Pins (cut Trace)

Currently, on the CNC Shield V3 board, Digital Pin 8 is used to enable all three stepper motor drivers simultaneously. However, if you want to control each motor individually, you need to isolate the enable pins for each driver. This can be achieved by cutting a specific trace on the PCB and connecting a jumper wire from a different Digital Pin, allowing for independent motor control.
Solder Jumper Wire and Change CODE

On the top of the CNC board solder another jumper wire from D12 to the resistor.
Based on what pin you used now we can enable or disable the driver using the added digital pin.
